Making a Chair

Farouke (in white shirt) is standing around idle most of the time.  Sometimes he runs errands for people.  There have been a number of times Farouke has grabbed my hand as cars speed by me in the market and one time I got in the water to swim across the way and I heard him immediately jump in to swim next to me - he watches out for me a lot.

So I taught him to make a simple chair with the tools that we bought.

I told him that when I leave he can have the tools if he continues to build things as a business.  But whenever missionaries come to visit, he must let them use his tools on projects.

Hopefully, and pray for this, that we can get even better at chair and table making.
